    3. LaCie XtremeKey

LaCie XtremeKey isn’t really smaller than a typical USB flash drive, but it does have something that most of them don’t. It is “built like a tank”, if that expression can at all be appropriate for an USB flash drive. LaCie shows it being ran over by a steamroller, hit by a machete, frozen in nitrogen or set on fire. It survived all of it, along with up to 128 GB’s of data that can be stored in it. I’d say that does pack a damn punch! I guess it’s great for people who are into extreme sports, or work in extreme environments, and also like carrying over a hundred of gigabytes of data with them for whatever reason.

Speaking of flash drives, there is a super-tiny unit that’s worth a mention. This K1 64 Go USB 3.0 flash drive is so tiny its USB plug is larger than its data storage part. That’s 64 GB of storage in the space that’s only a few milimeters thick and long, and just a centimeter wide. If you plug this in you could probably forget it’s in. Maybe after a while you’ll come to think those 64GB are just a part of your laptop!

In the Bullet “you get something like a 1000 megawatts of broadcast power” – yeah right,as long as you have a nuclear power station in your bedroom.
