What is Arpl.exe and how do I remove it?
The file arpl.exe is Trojan/Backdoor. Trojans are programs that have been designed to appear innocent but have been intentionally designed to cause some malicious activity or to provide a backdoor for others to gain access to your system.
How do these infections start? Just like any program, in order for the program to work, it must be installed. Malware programs are no different in this respect and must be started in some fashion in order to do what they were designed to do. For the most part, these infections run by creating a configuration entry in the Windows Registry in order to make these programs start when your computer starts.
How do you remove these infections? It is not recommend deleting the files manually. As Malware can use the same name as a genuine file, you could inadvertently delete a file that is genuine. You should always have an up to date anti-spyware program running on your computer. This, along caution in visiting websites and clicking on links in emails will help keep your computer safe.
ARPL.EXE has been determined by every anti-spyware and anti-malware company as being harmful. Therefore this file is unsafe to run and should be removed using your anti-spyware program. The only way to get rid of it is to run an anti-spyware or anti-malware program.
The following are examples of some of the activities arpl.exe does when installed on your computer:
-
Installs programs.
Deletes programs.
Creates run keys.
Runs temporary programs.
