Audiovox CDM-8615 Makes Simplicity Simply Marvelous

The Audiovox CDM-8615 has taken the place of the Audiovox CDM-8600. It has enough features to be placed in a category of its own. It has a flip phone design for user ease and convenience. At only 3.4 ounces and dimensional measurements of 3.5" x 1.9" x 0.9" the phone is simple to carry and light in the hand. It has excellent resolution of 128 x 160 megapixels and vibrant with 65,536 colors. The cell phone features a talk time of three hours and a stand by time of seven hours. The phonebook holds a maximum of three hundred contacts. Three separate alarms can be set for differing times all with a snooze option. A calculator and calendar give the user some bonus features to use. An extendable stub antenna gives the user a longer area where conversation can be transmitted. There's a built-in, two-way speakerphone for handsfree talking. Voice memo and voice activated dialing add to the handsfree features of the Audiovox CDM-8615.

The technology of the Audiovox CDM-8615 allows for two-way text messaging. It also comes equipped with text messaging templates to make texting easier and a lot more fun. 1xRTT technology allows the user better network voice capability. It also has WAP communication with a 2.0 browser. For users that enjoy games there are two that come with the phone -Blackjack and Magic Hexa. The external display is monochrome LCD with 96 x 64 megapixels. Memo Pad allows the user to store notes right on the phone.

Pros

For a simple phone that still offers many great features the Audiovox CDM-8615 is an excellent choice. It is lightweight and has the talking and text options cellphone users are looking for.

Cons

Audiovox CDM-8615 is a very basic phone without tons of bells and whistles. Yet, it does have some additional options. It may not be for the Blackberry savvy user.
