BenQ P50
While some users may find the BenQ P50 to be a little bulky, there is a good reason for that. The P50 manages to combine some of the best features around in a full-service hand held device that is hard to beat. Complete with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability, the P50 provides safe and secure connections that are not apt to fail at just the wrong time.
The data storage on the P50 is not too shabby, either. With 128MB of build in memory, that features 64MB of RAM and 64 MB of ROM, the unit will store an impressive amount of data. If you need to expand on that a bit, that is no problem. There is an SDIO/MMC slot that will handle larger files if the need arises.
For the operating system, the P50 goes with Windows Mobile 2003, the second and more stable edition. While this has been the operating system since the BenQ P50 was launched in 2004, there are no current plans to upgrade. Users who have been having fits with the newer Windows Vista on their laptops and desktops will most likely be happy to hear that, since Windows Mobile 2003 provides a nice mix of usability and familiarity that keeps consumers happy.
In general, the P50 has been a big hit with users. The device contains all the usual features that people on the go need, and can work very well in both a business and a recreational environment. If you are looking for a unit with a proven track record and a nice mix of features, this one is worth consideration.
