BlackBerry Phones

For the most part, BlackBerry phones are manufactured in Canada by RIM (Research in Motion). BlackBerry phones are the gadgets of choice for many road warriors, professionals and executives. BlackBerry phones main focus is the ability to send and receive email, making carrying around a laptop or being glued to your desk no longer necessary.

The majority of BlackBerry phones offer a PDA-like interface, however today's BlackBerry are smaller and more stylish than ever offering true smart phone functionality and easy to use applications on board. BlackBerry phones usually require a specific subscription from BlackBerry itself and can be used in conjunction with most US wireless providers.

BlackBerry, while a much smaller company than Motorola and Nokia, has built a hugely successful reputation and garnered a large chunk of market share in the smart phone/email accessible niche. While other phone manufacturers are making inroads on Blackberry's consumer base, BlackBerry still continues to shine offering many new and highly rated phones each year.

BlackBerry phones are built as business tools and do not really focus on giving the owner a customized or entertaining experience. You will probably be disappointed if you are looking to add do it yourself ring tones, phone games or graphics, usually BlackBerry phones do not have this capability.
