		<description>While I certainly understand the pain it might cause AT&amp;T by reducing their service area, I think is probably the right thing to do.

When these services are marketed as &quot;phones&quot;, consumers expect them to be able to work like phones.  The potential for a real tragedy exists when family members rely on access to police, fire &amp; medical only to find that, in an emergency, they can&#039;t be reached.
