Microsoft has officially announced that they’ve slashed the price of their HD DVD player add-on for the Xbox 360 by $50. This is a method to improve the sales unless DS and Wii destroy it
One thing to consider is that at $129, it will at least make a good upscaling DVD player. Don’t forget that you still get 5 free HD DVDs whenever you purchase select players (which includes this one).

According to the recent patent application implanting a micro-camera directly into the eyeball may be a future solution for restoring sight to blind or people with damaged vision. Actually, technology to restore sight to the blind by using electronic retinas was developed some time ago, but the link between the retina and external cameras was involving wires, which is a significant disadvantage. But this new methord lets the camera could be charged through wireless and communicate directly with a chip implanted at the back of the eye.
UCLA Optical engineer ,Michelle Hauer ,thinks that technology may have advanced enough to insert a tiny camera inside the lens of the eye, capable of adapting for corneal optical effects and perhaps using haptics to stabilize its position. The camera would transmit images to a nerve-stimulating chip at the back of the eye, resulting in a complete electronic vision system.

Seitz company created a 160-megapixel 6 x 17 inch camera that is considered to have the highest resolution among all the digital cameras. In addition to the fact that this gadget looks huge it is probably heavy to carry and shoot with. Apparently one full resolution image taken with this Seitz camera will take up approximately 900MB. So a simple memory card won’t be enough for you to make even a few photos.
The Seitz D3 Digital Camera impresses not only with its sizes (6 x 17, 4.5 lb), but also with its features. This gadget takes pictures with resolution of 7,500 x 21,250 pixels, that is to say 160 MP. The Seitz D3 Digital Camera is combined with a tablet PC, which works with it, making the whole process easier and more reliable in service. But in case you really like extremely high resolution image be ready to buy a portable hard drive for this purpose. Nevertheless, that’s not the half of it. Such a high-end gadget costs about $ 45,000.

The Slacker WiFi portable radio acts like a cross between your iPod and the radio , letting you access radio stations (or create personalized ones) over the internet, in addition to playing music that you already own. The neat thing is that the Slacker will buffer your radio stations on its HD, so you don’t have to be connected to the internet all the time in order to be listening to new music.
As you might expect, there is a monthly subscription cost to take full advantage of the radio service. The basic radio is free, but includes a ‘limited number’ of ads, and you can only skip 6 songs per hour. The price for premium radio is $7.50 a month, and for that, there are no ads, you can skip all the songs you want, and if you like something, you can save it from the radio onto your player. The player features 10 hour battery life, a 4″ screen, 802.11 b/g WiFi, and weighs 5 oz. A 2gb model (with 500mb for personal music, 1.5gb for radio music) will cost you $200, or you can get a 4gb (1.5gb personal music) for $250 and an 8gb (4gb personal music) for $300. Think before paying for it though

The DV300T is one of the most unique designs of any recorder out on the market today.
This camera definitely has the YouTube generation in mind as it has a VGA CMOS sensor for filming sub-NTSC or PAL type video.
As for still shots, it can do about 3.1 Megapixels which is “Interpolated Resolution by Security Standard VGA Sensor”. I’m not certain exactly what that means, but it sounds like it means that there is some sort of digital image stabilization happening here.
That sounds hard to believe, considering the device only has 64 MB worth of memory. However, that is expandable with SD cards.
The Multi-Functional Video Camera also has some other non-camera features included in the DV300T like voice recording, MP3 capability, and eBook reading.
The screen on the DV300T is a two inch diagonal that does not flip out in any way, like other brand of digital cameras. In fact, several reviews of this product compare it to a candybar phone, and that solid block look creates a clear resemblance.

Hydrophobia 300 - 600 is said to be the first rain cover that was meant to be pre-mounted for quick deployment. Perfect for those who work in the field and don’t want the unpredictable weather to spoil not only the shot but equipment, it can be deployed quickly and without hassle. The Hydrophobia is capable of fitting over a 300 f2.8, 400 f2.8, 500 f4, and 600 f4 lenses, ideally pitting it in the sports and nature photography markets. The fabric used claims to be 10 times more waterproof than standard fabric, relying on a “film” on the underside instead of a “spray” coating. Waterproof tape is applied to all seams to create a seemingly and thoroughly waterproof cover.
