Inmarsat teams up with Streambox on satellite phone IPTV

News of the other "V" over IP – Video over Internet Protocol:

Streambox, a leading supplier of real-time video transport solutions for broadcasting, satellite, and cable, has partnered with Inmarsat, the leading provider of global mobile satellite communications, to facilitate the transmission and delivery of low latency, real-time broadcast video to users of Inmarsat’s Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) service at data rates from 64 kbps to 256z kbps.

The Streambox ACT-L3 video transport solutions give BGAN users a compact and reliable solution for plug-and-transmit video transport in regions with poor or nonexistent telecom networks.
