How do I Close a Hotmail account?

Hotmail is a free (i.e. advertiser supported) web based e-mail system provided by Microsoft Corporation.

If you no longer use your Hotmail account, it can be good to delete it so that people who send you e-mail will receive bounce messages telling them that your Hotmail e-mail address is no longer valid.

How to Close Your Hotmail Account

Login to your Microsoft Hotmail account.
Go to the Microsoft Hotmail Close your MSN account page.
Select Close my MSN account and delete my credentials.
Press <Close Account>
