How Do I Delete the Backdoor-CVT Virus?
The Backdoor-CVT virus can be removed from an infected machine by initially downloading a software application designed to get rid of malicious processes present in MS Windows-based machines. The anti-malware application is called AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5.
After downloading the program, install it. It will run as a fully functional trial version for 30 days by just following the instructions found on the program's download page. Afterwards, you should delete all temporary Internet files and Cookies present on your machine before running a full system scan with the use of your newly installed anti-malware application. Next, updating the malware definitions database of your anti-malware program is important. This is an automated process, but you have to enable its automatic updating feature through the Options or Preferences tab of the program. Finally, conduct a full system scan and delete/quarantine/heal/remove the Backdoor-CVT virus and all the detected components associated with this malicious application.
