What is a Dish 1000?

A Dish 1000 an 23" x 19" oval satellite dish used by Dish Networks.

A Dish 1000 is able to receive a signal from two satellite locations.

The Dish 1000 replaced the earlier Dish 500, which was only able to receive a signal from two satellite locations.

The Dish 1000 is usually pointed at Dish Network satellites at 110, 119 and 129 degrees West.

The Dish 1000 is an alternative to the SuperDISH.
