Ubuntu could save online banking.

A bank would offer its customers a modified Ubuntu LiveCD that boots right into the browser and visits the online banking page. Since LiveCD doesn't touch your Glossary Link hard drive and whatever malicious gets downloaded to it will be gone once you reboot to your main system it's like using a separate high security computer for online banking. I think it's a really neat idea!
