You can personalize Yahoo Messenger by changing its skin. Changing the “skin” refers to changing the look of the Yahoo Messenger window. This is a simple process and can be completed in just a few simple steps.
Steps to Skin Yahoo Messenger
- Open Yahoo Messenger by double clicking on the Yahoo Messenger icon located on the desktop.
- After Yahoo Messenger opens, click on the “Messenger” tab located on the top left hand corner of the messenger window.
- Scroll down to the phrase, “Change Skin”. Click this to open up another window.
- In the “Change Skin” window, you will be presented with three different skins to choose from:
- Classic
- Indigo
- Maverick Blue
- Choose the “Skin” you would like to change to and click “OK” to save your new setting.
