HTC P4350

The new and stylish quad band HTC P4350 PDA phone, which is just 17mm thick and just about 168kg in weight, operates under Windows Mobile 5.0 and sports its signature semi-automatic slide-out full QWERTY keypad, which fits well with the HTC's slimmest PDA phone to date. The HTC P4350, which was designed especially for easy messaging, runs with a 200MHz application processor as well as Windows Mobile 5.0, which helps with its other features such as synchronization with Pocket MSN, Contacts, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Internet browsing, as well as on other applications such as Microsoft Office's Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. It is the perfect work station away from the office, which is usually good for business users who are always on the go.

The HTC P4350's main features include a 2.8" colour display, making it more conducive for viewing or editing PDF documents on your phone. The compact device also offers a landscape view which serves great for watching videos, or simply for viewing the Internet and e-mailing. The PDA supports GSM/GPRS and EDGE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0 - allowing its users to keep connected with other people worldwide, thanks to its Internet browsing, messaging and multimedia functions.

The HTC P4350 PDA phone's design makes it as HTC's slimmest PDA phone yet, with only 17mm in thickness. The compact device's QWERTY signature keypad flicks out from the right hand side of the unit, and is encased in a brushed rubber fell casing. When in sleep mode, the device can be powered up automatically by simply flipping out the keypad and subsequently changing the orientation of the screenshot from portrait to landscape.

This feature eliminates the need for a power button, which is usually located on the top of the device. The sliding keypad will not easily dismember even if you drop it due to a tricky innovation in its design which features a retractile mechanism - making it considerably easy to slide the keypad in and out of the phone.

The keys on the phone are slightly domed, which is designed specifically so its users can reduce their chances of hitting the wrong keys when operating it. There are LED indicator lights as well, so its subscribers will know if they got the shift caps lock on when typing using the sliding QWERTY keypad. The PDA phone is encased in a plastic compound which could easily sustain damage since the material is durable.

The HTC P4350's display features a TFT touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 and supports 65k colors. Its 2 mega pixel camera does not have any macro mode, flash or auto zoom in its functions, making it difficult to take pictures in the dark, or even while moving.

Aside from the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system with the messaging and security features pack, the HTC P4350 also features the latest version of AKU 3.2 in its software along with other third party applications. This software allows the HTC P4350's users to send contacts via SMS, preconfigured email providers, upgraded Internet sharing option, and the Task manager.

The HTC P4350's other feature include other communication technologies, with the exception of 3G and Infrared connectivity, such as GPRS and EDGE class 10, USB 1.1, Ti OMAP850 processor, which runs at 201 Mhz speed, Bluetooth 2.0 (although it has a low data transfer speed of 27 kbps), and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 128 MB ROM memory for storage space, which can be expanded with the use of a microSD card, audio manager application which supports MP3, WAV, WMA, AMR, and AAC files, and a battery life that offers 200 hours in standby mode,
