HTC S720

HTC is known worldwide for making some of the best smartphones on the market, so it is no surprise that the HTC S720 is a stunning example of the perfect cellular device for tech junkies who want something special from their cell phones. Unlike most smartphones on the market, such as Blackberry, the HTC S720 is not particularly designed with corporate America in mind. While there are plenty of features in this device which businessmen would use, the HTC S720 is mostly designed to appease the masses of tech fanatics who will be more than willing to shell out the cash for such a device.

The HTC S720 is one of the smallest smartphones on the market, measuring in at approximately four inches by two inches by half an inch. However, despite its small size, it packs considerable weight – 130 grams. All of this weight must be due to the enormous battery life which can power through over seven hours of talk time and 228 hours of standby time. These are fantastic numbers given that most smartphones currently on the market can only pull around five hours of talk time – maximum.

Tech junkies and corporate types will rejoice in the fact that the HTC S720 is a 3G phone, so it can download and upload data at blazing speeds no matter where you are. However, the downside of this is that the HTC S720 is a CDMA phone, so it can not be used out of the country. Fast speeds, limited travel radius. While this will not bother most people, it will definitely dissuade some business travelers who are looking for a smartphone they can take with them during their travels.

There are features galore from top to bottom in the tiny HTC S720. While the screen, which measures 240 pixels by 320 pixels is nothing to write home about with its sixty five thousand colors, there is a decent 2 Megapixel digital camera built into the phone with a two times digital zoom. Furthermore, a music and video player is built in with expandable memory via a microSD card. The HTC S720 also runs Microsoft Windows Mobile for Smartphones and features a full QWERTY keyboard on the front of the device.
