Motorola MOTO ZN200

A sleek 47 x 105 x 15.9 mm (4.1 x 1.9 x 0.6 inches), the Motorola Moto ZN200 slider phone has a minimalist appearance with its glossy exterior (available in 3 color options) and chrome accents. Its weight is a substantial 115 g (4.1 oz), making it heavier than some of the more traditionally styled slider phones by a few grams.

Display Screen Size

The ZN200 features a relatively small 1.9 inch display on the device's face. Resolution is fair at 176 x 220 pixels. The TFT screen provides 262 144 colors. Display screen colors are vivid and vibrant, but the screen's small size may be an issue for some users.

Connectivity Options

Bluetooth connectivity (Stereo Bluetooth Class 2), USB 2.0, and MMS capabilities are included. The ZN200 allows transfers over GPRS/EDGE and is quad-band capable of global roaming.

Users will be able to monitor Bluetooth activity via a status icon located at the top of the device.

Camera Capabilities

A 2 MP camera captures both still images and video footage which can be displayed on the device's 1.9 inch screen. The MOTO ZN200 features a dedicated camera key which launches “imaging mode”. When the device is in imaging mode, only keys related to use with the device camera are illuminated, making use of the camera feature more simple for users.

Users will be able to take both landscape and portrait oriented photos and capture video at 15 to 20 frames per second. Included MMS technology allows users to send up to 30 seconds of video.

Entertainment Features

The Motorola MOTO ZN200 features a stereo FM radio and an MP3 player. Also included is a stereo-wired headset. The device supports a stereo Bluetooth wireless headset as well. The ZN200 allows users to download music from a PC via USB. Device also accommodates MP3 ringtones and features Motorola's Crystal-Talk technology.

Users will also be able to access the Internet with the ZN200's included Internet browser. The device also comes pre-loaded with several games.

Memory Capacity

The Motorola MOTO ZN200 provides only 30MB of internal memory, but expansion is possible as the device supports up to 2GB microSD, allowing users to store more downloaded material as well as personal photos and longer segments of video captured with the device's built-in camera.
