The phone design is one of the best clamshell designs from Motorola. The user interface and menu screens are well polished and trendy. The phone screen has nice graphics and well-defined fonts.
Multimedia Features
It has a number of special features that are present via the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network. This includes the NFL Mobile Live that offers live audio broadcast of all regular season games of NFL as well as live audio and video streams of NFL Network games, including exclusive video highlights and team content.
Also, the Sprint Music Store provides easy song downloads that can be done OTA or Over The Air. Phone users will also love the 150 channels that Sprint Radio can provide. Lastly, the Sprint TV service offers live programming upon demand.
Pros
- Excellent build and display quality
- The phone is equipped with Sprint Navigation that provides audio and visual directions plus a one-click traffic rerouting.
- Phone users will appreciate the wireless back-up service, which secures the contact list in the event of theft or phone malfunction.
Cons
- Its 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom is mediocre so you cannot expect an impressive photo. Though the phone has a camcorder feature, the resulting video is a bit wavy because the picture resolution is not that good.
- The WAP browser of the phone is not that impressive and phone users cannot expect more than the basic features of a browser.
Overall
It has very good multimedia features although dependent on the Sprint network. Calling and messaging features are also okay. Design-wise, the phone is trendy and in style - so far the most improved design among the Motorola phones.
