Motorola V276

The Motorola V276 is an outstanding, hassle free, phonic with just the basics. While the V276 doesn't have an MP3 for ring tones or Bluetooth technology; it does come standard with WAP 2.0 compliant open wave browser with CDMA2000 1xRTT for dependable and clear high speed connections and wireless communications functions (network AMPS 800/ CDMA 800/1900).

The Motorola V276 is made out of shiny blue metal with a clam shell design and a stub/extendable antenna. This cell phone fits nicely in the palm of the hand or snug in a purse or pocket (measures 81x46x23) The V276 weighs only 107 grams; so it won't weigh you down. Five way navigational keypad is back lit and the keys are large and laid out in a way that allows for easy access and usage. One touch key dedication gives shortcuts to the most often used functions while providing opportunity for the user to create other short cuts that will fit their needs. The middle row of keys is slightly higher to lead the user in dialing without having to look at the phone.

Many time saving features come standard with this phone. Among the most outstanding of these features is Motorola's new speaker independent voice dial feature. With this feature users can find contact names without having to touch the keypad or pre-recording a voice dial name. This cell phone uses a standard cell phone battery (820 mAh Li-Ion). One down fall of the Motorola V276 is its' low talk time. This cell phone has only 3.50 hours of talk time. Heavy talkers are sure to have issue with this. However, keep in mind that the cell phone does promise over 300 hours of stand by time. The standard battery is easily replaced or recharged.

Polyphonic speaker and Midi ring tones comes standard. Another down fall is sure to be the absence of a MP3 player for the downloading of additional ring tones and music. There are several entertaining BREW games that do come standard.

The vivid color screen comes standard with 65k colors and measures 128x128 pixels. Users have described the quality of the display as being exceptional. While some users may be put off by the V267's lack of some technologies like MP3 ring tones and low battery talk time; other users will appreciate the camera timer and currency exchange feature. Bluetooth and infrared are absent; therefore this isn't the fastest of wireless communication technologies. However, users are reporting superbly clear and strong signals with the WAP 2.0.
