Nokia 6121-classic

The Nokia 6121-classic is the perfect phone for someone who is just looking for a device that they can talk to their friends and family with. It doesn't do anything special. It doesn't have any fancy bells or whistles. It's designed for one purpose and one purpose only – to communicate with others. It is called the "Classic" after all.

Like the majority of Nokia phones on the market, the candy bar shaped Nokia 6121-classic is designed to be used on the GSM network. It is quad band for world roaming and features 3G support for fast data transfer when you want to browse the Internet or read your emails on the road.

Measuring in at approximately four inches by two inches by half of an inch, the Nokia 6121-classic can easily slide into any pocket. However, as is the case with the majority of Nokia cellular devices, the battery life is especially poor. Expect to only get three hours of talk time and two hundred and thirty hours of standby time from a fully charged battery.

The Nokia 6121-classic, like most of Nokia's other devices, features the beautiful and characteristic 240 pixels by 320 pixels screen with sixteen million colors. Also packed in are a two Megapixel camera with a four times digital zoom and a secondary camera if you want to engage in some video calls. There is also a flash mounted on the back of the Nokia 6121-classic's mounting for better photographs in low light conditions.

As far as other features are concerned, there is a music and video player built into the phone for some entertainment when you're not busy calling people. The Nokia 6121-classic also offers expandable memory via a microSD card. Ringtones can be of a variety of types, including MP3 so you can use your songs as rings with the push of a button. Bluetooth support, a speakerphone, and various hands free voice dialing features are also packed into this phone for a bit more functionality.

Overall

The Nokia 6121-classic is a decent choice if you are looking for a candy bar phone from Nokia. As a free device, the Nokia 6121-classic is certainly worth it. Otherwise you may want to consider looking into some of Sony Ericsson's candy bar phones instead.
