Nokia 6205
The new Nokia 6205 is a simple phone that is minimalist in nature. One of the battery covers has the Batman/Dark Knight logo while the other one does not. This means if you get tired of looking at the logo in a few months you can switch it.
The Nokia 6205 has very good sound quality when sending and receiving calls. It features a 1.3 megapixel camera, a music player and EVDO.
The 6205 is a clamshell that measures 3.62 inches high x 1.77 inches wide x 0.72 inch thick. This is a slim phone that slips easily into a pocket or purse. It weighs a mere 3.3 ounces so it will not weigh you down at all.
There is an external display on the 6205 that measures 1.28 inches. There are 65,000 colors which means it will work okay for the graphics of the music player and photo Caller-ID.
Once you flip open the phone you will discover a two inch 262,000 color main display. The images and colors are vibrant and very sharp. The navigation selection consists of two soft keys, a dedicated speakerphone key, a dedicated camera key and a square toggle with a middle OK key. Here you will also find the End/Power key as well as the Send and Clear buttons.
The Nokia 6205 features a 500 entry contact list. Each entry can hold two e-mail addresses and five phone numbers. It is very handy to pair each one of these entries up with a caller group and then assign a photo for the Caller-ID. Another option is to choose one of the 16 available polyphonic sounds and personalize it for your own choice of ringtone. There are six extra movie oriented ringtones for the Dark Knight edition of this phone.
The 1.3 megapixel camera of the Nokia 6205 is capable of snapping pictures in four different resolutions. It contains five white-balance settings as well as six color effects. Other features the camera includes are a flash, a self-timer, brightness, a silent option and the choice of three shutter sounds.
