Nokia 6301
The Nokia 6301 is a more sophisticated and sleeker version of its precursor, the Nokia 6300. This phone is very simple to use and is elegant. It is finished in stainless steel and is very sturdy.
One of the best features of the Nokia 6301 is that it has WLAN/UMA connectivity. This means that you can have a WLAN network at your disposal wherever you are at, be it home, work, or if you happen to be at a Wi-Fi location. This will enable you to have data connections and to make free or cheap telephone calls. What could be better than that?!
The Nokia 6301 has a 2-megapixel camera and an MP3 player. It has Bluetooth connectivity and its memory expands to four GBytes. The Nokia 6301 is available in an elegant cocoa color.
The Nokia 6301 runs over the 2G network and supports the GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. The phone was first announced in September 2007 but was released in March 2008.
The phone measures 106.8 x 43.8 x 13.1 mm (55.6 cc). It weighs 93 grams. The battery is a standard Lithium Ion that is 860 mAh (BL-4C). The talk time is up to 3 hours and 30 minutes while the standby time is up to 14 days.
The phone has a TFT display of 16M colors and its size is 240 x 320 pixels, 2.0 inches. There are downloadable screensavers and wallpapers for those who like tinkering around with them.
The phonebook holds as many as 1000 entries and has photocall. As far as call records go, the phone saves the last 20 numbers dialed as well as the last 20 received and 20 missed calls.
