How do I Configure a Proxy in my Browser?
Configure a Web Proxy in Internet Explorer
- Select a proxy from one of our recommended anonymous proxy lists.
- Note the IP address and the port number of that proxy server.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Open the <Tools> menu.
- Select <Internet Options>.
- Click on the <Connections> tab.
- Click on the <LAN Settings> button.
- Check the box next to "Use a proxy server for your LAN".
- Enter the IP address of the proxy you selected in Step 1 into the "Address:" box.
- Enter the port number of the proxy you selected in Step 1 into the "Port:" box.
- Click the <OK> button.
- Click the <OK> button.
Configure a Web Proxy in Mozilla Firefox
- Select a proxy from one of our recommended anonymous proxy lists.
- Note the IP address and the port number of that proxy server.
- Open Firefox.
- Open the <Tools> menu.
- Select <Options>.
- Click the <Connection Settings> button.
- Check <Manual Proxy Configuration>.
- Enter the IP address of the proxy you selected in Step 1 into the "HTTP Proxy:" box.
- Enter the port number of the proxy you selected in Step 1 into the corresponding "Port:" box.
- Enter the IP address of the proxy you selected in Step 1 into the "SSL Proxy:" box.
- Enter the port number of the proxy you selected in Step 1 into the corresponding "Port:" box.
- Click the <OK> button.
- Click the <OK> button.
