How does RAR password recovery work?
WinRAR 3.x archives use AES encryption with 128-bit keys.
Encrypted RAR archives can be attacked with both a dictionary attack and a brute force attack.
AES is a secure algorithm and 128-bits is a reasonable key size. RAR password recovery will not be trivial.
