How do I remove Cydoor?
Cydoor is a piece of adware which is bundled as a part of many software packages, such as KaZaA.
Cydoor then executes every time the application it came bundled with is run.
Remove Cydoor
The best way to remove Cydoor is to uninstall the application, such as KaZaA, that installed Cydoor. In most cases, removing Cydoor seperately will cause the host application to stop working.
Most Cydoor host applications can be uninstalled by using Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel.
- Click the <Start Button>
- Click the <Control Panel>
- If you are in Category View, click <Classic View>
- Click <Add or Remove Programs>
- Highlight the program you installed just before noticing Cydoor
- Click the <Remove> button
