How do I Reset a Linksys router?
- Turn off your Internet modem. Note that this is different from your router.
- Now, locate a small button (that you can only press with a pin or a pen tip) reading Reset at the back of your Linksys router.
- With the Linksys router on, press and hold on to the Reset button for at least 30 seconds.
- Wait for the Power and WLAN to light up on the router and a sign on your computer showing that a connection has been made to the router.
- When the lights are all on, turn your Internet modem back on.
- Open your web browser and check to see if you can get on the Internet now.
