Samsung FlipShot-U900
The Samsung Flipshot-U900 has a lot going for it, with a new size and extra features that will please many consumers. One of the nice features on the Flipshot-U900 is the twist display on the form factor design of the shell. Along with this enhancement, there are a few other features that help to make the U900 stand out in the general market, as well as among other Samsung offerings.
As with many Samsung phones, the U900 has an excellent quality camera that sports three megapixels. The QVGA display on the unit is clear and easy to view. People who use the unit for business purposes will be delighted with the business card reader and the link back to the contact database stored on the unit. When it comes to music, the music player is top notch, with Bluetooth upgraded to a stereo release on the U900.
Unfortunately, the talk time on the Samsung Flipshot-U900 is not the best on the market today. With four hours of talk time between charges, the U900 manages nothing more than an average rating for this function. With a phone that is approaching four ounces, it does seem that the active battery life could be a little better.

- Holding the snap button on the camera for too long will result in the unit switching to camcorder mode
- Response time on some of the buttons requires they be held down for up to three seconds in order to activate the feature
Final Thoughts:
The Flipshot is a nice phone that will work well for many residential and business customers. However, the relatively low talk time may cut into the number of business customers that will consider the phone for work.
