The Samsung T109 from T-Mobile is a very basic, simple to use clamshell design phone that has all of the essential features that users look for in a phone. There is can integrated speakerphone, a web browser to keep you connected, multimedia messaging and a plethora of other features including screen savers, games and customizable ringtones.
The built-in speakerphone allows for a hands-free conversation; you can link up with family members or friends without any hassles. The multimedia messaging makes it possible to send messages, graphics, pictures and sounds. Instant messaging is a part of the Samsung T109, for which you can use AOL, ICQ, Windows Live or Yahoo.
The Samsung T109 works on the GSM 850/1900 network and has an internal antenna. The battery is an 800 mAh Li-ion, which gives a talk time is 4 hours and a standby time of 240 minutes. The T109 has a memory of 3.0MB and features a five-way keypad.

The Samsung T109 is a phone that is best suited for occasional use as it does not accommodate many of the advanced features of current mobile phones. If you enjoy texting a lot you will probably find that the keypad is not that easy to use and may actually be downright uncomfortable. This phone is not the best for travelers as it does not have GPS, nor does it have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
