Sony Ericsson W610
It should be noted that the Sony Ericsson W610 is the same phone as the Sony Ericsson K550, except for the automatic lens cover. However even without this small feature, the Sony Ericsson W610 is a great candy bar phone filled with top rated features.
The Sony Ericsson W610 has plenty of great features, but its most impressive is the 2 mega pixel high resolution digital camera on board. This camera takes extremely high quality images and you can view them on the large, bright screen. The digital camera includes an LED flash and for those that are looking for a phone and camera in one unit, this is one of the top units on the market. The Sony Ericsson W610 uses M2 memory sticks for memory storage, while it performs great, M2 memory is usually more expensive than the more standardized TransFlash or micro memory cards available.
The phone itself looks great and is extremely slim and small. The candy bar shape of the phone makes it easy to slide into your pockets and the keypad and construction of the phone feels high quality and sturdy. Using the phone is extremely easy, although if you have very thick fingers, you might have some difficulty with the smaller size keypad. The software is intuitive and doesn't require a steep learning curve.
The Sony Ericsson W610 main functions work very well and its reception is quite good. Battery life is good, but not excellent and will be drained extremely quickly when using the media function including the camera or music player. The music player is adequate and comes with an FM tuner. Finding music on your phone is quite easy and management of your files isn't that difficult. The phone comes equipped with a speakerphone, but while adequate, it could be a little louder and clearer, especially when music files are playing.

- The Sony Ericsson W610 memory card required on this phone is an M2 memory stick (this type of memory is usually more expensive and less versatile than other types of memory cards)
- Speakerphone is adequate, but could sound better
- Antenna and data connections are located in odd places on the phone
- Does not include a lens cover like its sister model the K550
Overall
The Sony Ericsson W610 is a great phone for most people, especially those that would like a high quality camera on board. Main features perform well and include extras that make this phone stand out among the pack.
