What is VideoCipher II RS (VCII RS)?

VideoCipher II Renewable Security (VCII RS) is the scrambling system that most analog C-Band premium satellite TV channels use.

A VCII satellite receiver is required to decode VC II channels.

VCII RS is an improvement on older standards, VCI, VCII and VCII+.
