How to Convert WordPerfect Files

WordPerfect is a popular word processing software and millions of individuals around the world use it. However, WordPerfect is not as popular as Microsoft Word. Because of this, users who already have Microsoft Office or Microsoft Word on their computer may wish to convert WordPerfect documents to Word documents. This can be done in one of two ways. The first method involves opening the WordPerfect document in Microsoft Word and saving it in the Microsoft Word format. This can be done by doing the following:

1) Open Microsoft Word, click on the File menu, and select the “Open” tab.

2) Browse for and select the WordPerfect file.

3) Click on the File menu again, select the “Save As” tab, and change the “Save as type” selection to any Microsoft Word format.

The second method involves using a word processing converter, such as WordPerfect Converter, that will convert the file from a WordPerfect document to a Microsoft Word document automatically.
