What is Mini-USB?
The Mini-USB was added to the USB specification in the first engineering change notice for the USB. A USB is an external bus that is used to connect peripherals to the electronic devices like computers, PDAs and more. The Mini-USB connector is a small cable connector that is used in electronic devices mainly for USB data connectivity but sometimes it's also used for charging the devices. Mobile phones, digital cameras and MP3 players are some of the handheld devices that use Mini-USB for data connectivity.
