3. Disable Unnecessary Apps
Once a manual review of all apps has been completed, run the Android Performance Assistant to help identify additional aps on the device that are not used or required for daily operation of the phone or tablet. This will help you further improve the Android’s performance based on your actual usage of the device. Since the apps are not uninstalled, they will remain stored on the phone or tablet; however, there will no longer be runtime resources dedicated to their usage. The disabled apps will not be displayed on the app tray or home screen; however, they will be available to be enabled at a later timeframe if desired.
