7. Do not use Live Wallpapers
The Live Wallpaper feature was first introduced in Android 2.1 to deliver an interactive background to end users that delivers a richer experience. Prior to this version of the OS, Android devices could only use traditional imagery and other static settings for the background of their device. Today, all Android phones feature different types of Live Wallpaper that can be activated for use. Unfortunately, the animation and other cool effects that support the feature also take additional CPU cycles to run, and they will drain the battery charge of the device more quickly since the wallpaper is activated each time the user activates the home screen. One way to improve the Android performance on your device is to deactivate the Live Wallpaper.
