4. Mailtimer
This is a simple, but very useful add-on for anyone that spends far too much time going through email. It is defaulted to alert users after they’ve spend two minutes viewing an email. There’s a warning at the 30 second mark and then a little box pops up with a reminder that it’s time to move on to the next task. The default of two minutes per email can be adjusted.
There’s also a handy feature that allows the user to prepare emails in advance and have them send right on time even if the user is out of the office.
