    Another wearable that could make you feel like you’ve acquired a superpower is Nymi, a small wristband that captures and uses your unique heart beat pattern and turns it into your unique identifier to use for unlocking anything from smartphones and PCs to doors and cars using just gestures.

    In that sense it is somewhat similar to what NFC ring can do, but has a different purpose, and uses different technology. Nymi can effectively eliminate the need for passwords, substituting your unique biosigns instead. The moment you take Nymi off, it stops reading your biosigns, and can’t be used to authenticate to anything.
