    9. Camera Quality

    Don’t forget about the camera! While any might be somewhat adequate, if you don’t have a dedicated camera it will probably matter a lot for you to have a decent quality camera on your smartphone.

    Differences may be more dramatic when you’re looking at cheaper phones because of the question of where to shave the costs. If camera quality is one of your priorities look for a phone that doesn’t sacrifice on it.

    You should probably go for at least 5 megapixels on a modern phone even if you go for the cheap ones, but be aware that megapixels aren’t the only thing representing camera quality. The lens used and even the software for taking pictures and videos can all affect the overall quality.

    Besides manufacturer’s own claims, also look to reviews to get the idea of camera quality, which will often have sample shots and comparisons to give you an idea of how good or bad it is.
