8. Use of Technology
Technology takes up a large part of both Nerd’s and Geek’s free time and interests, however, they tend to use it somewhat differently. Nerds tend to use their computers and gaming systems in order to escape their everyday life and enjoy being in a fantasy world for hours at a time. Geeks, on the other hand, tend to use technology to truly focus on what is happening around them. They are more commonly known to use different social media websites and keep up to date with new Pop Culture and gadgets.
