The format used consists of informative videos explaining the subject, and then quizes you can complete to keep moving and earn achievements. They also offer code challenges, and workspaces that you can use to practice and experiment. Judging from reviews TreeHouse material is more in line with real world problems you might have to solve compared to something like CodeCademy.
It offers a 14 day trial with access to everything, but after that costs $25 a month, which isn’t bad if the trial time gets you hooked, considering that you have access to over hundred courses. TreeHouse is probably the best alternative to CodeSchool.com.
