5. The Code Player
TheCodePlayer.com is a bit different than the rest in this crowd. Its “courses” are really just playbacks or “walkthroughs” of the coding process with real time display of the results. You can see exactly what’s being written and in which language for a specific application or feature, with the ability to switch between them using tabs.
So it’s not really interactive except for the ability to switch between code views, pause, or adjust the speed of the walkthrough. But this also means you can sit back, relax, and just take it all in. It’s basically a “watch and learn” approach, which has its merits.
The Code Player has a lot of free walkthroughs to choose from showing you exactly how to do many cool and useful things. I can see myself perusing this stuff for hours.
