4. Cube Sensors
Cube Sensors are all about making sure the quality of your indoor environment is optimal for your health, safety, and comfort. In one pretty small package it packs seven sensors that measure air quality, temperature, humidity, pressure, noise, light, and its own motion. Shaking it will make it glow in a color that represents the quality of your indoor environment, and if someone moves it while you’re away you can be notified on your phone.
With the information provided by these sensors displayed in the accompanying smartphone app you’re better equipped to address issues you might not otherwise be aware of and adjust your habits and choices. For example, you can see which cleaning products pollute the air more and select healthier ones. Since its air quality sensor detects more than just CO and CO2, but also the presence of other unhealthy substances such as mold, you can prevent some allergic reactions or asthma attacks. Its temperature sensors can also help prevent overheating or overcooling and therefore overspending on your energy bills.
A good alternative to Cube Sensors may be Alima, but it is a little bigger and doesn’t have as many sensors. It is a bit cheaper though, since you can get just one whereas the minimum order of Cube Sensors is two.
